Hi! I got a chance to interview Steven Pinker for my website, www.neurokids.org. I was researching more stuff about his class because he gave me permision to visit his class after science camp and i found this interview, cool! I didn't know he made a new book so I am so excited so I can go get it before I go and ask him to sign it. He is very smart and I think he is very nice to let me and my little brother come see his class because lots of people like reporters want to talk to him so to be nice and talk to kids is cool. Our friends didn't know him but we told him who he is and now they know his name. We study neuroscience and tell kids about it because we love learning about the brain and the mind.

Dear Charlie, At midnight, for the past ten years,I come down from my studio, this 66 year old body aching, and plop myself down for my (5) nights of "dessert for the brain". Thank you for your delicious and varied menu that keeps this artist fed soooooo well. Take joy, Betsy Krieg Salm

The entire program was perfect. I agree w/ M.C. Pastoret that your interaction w/ Steve Pinker was lyrical-2 great minds discussing a common issue which moves each of you. The viewers win! Steven Pinker is great guest. Not to mention the CEO of Avon, Ms. Jong, who was a delight visually and conversationally. Honorable mention should be made for the spate of military men who have appeared recently-very articulate and level headed. Thx, Mp

This week you have outdone yourself, Mr. Rose, with the quality of guests and interviews. The pace, intensity, and variety: really first class! The conversations were engaging and thought-provoking....candy for the soul, doled out in graceful dollops with such practiced ease and intellectual benevolence.... Thank you.

PLEASE show a rerun of the mar 13th interview with Stephen Pinker again SOON--didn't know he was on, and had to go out briefly. Also, I wish you would publish who your guests are in the TV mags that are included with Sunday Papers.

Metaphor alert: Lovely frosting! Want more cake! Mr. Rose, please have Steven Pinker back -- he deserved an hour. Language is your stock in trade, and who better to sort your goods (oh, those metaphors!) than the eloquent Prof. Pinker.

Like all the -ologists, Pinker understands nothing at all and so completes this triumvirate. The Khmer Rouge were quite right about what to do with such ppl. He's a bit too effusive, too, if you get my drift...
