Andrew Kuo is an artist who lives and works in New York City. He graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Rhode Island School of Design in 1999. He had his first solo exhibition in New York in 2001, and since then has had several other solo and group exhibitions both in the U.S and abroad. His most recent solo exhibition, All Over Again was on display at The 33 Bond Gallery in Manhattan from October 2007 to January 2008. Kuo's obsessive charts analyzing musical events have been featured in the New York Times' music section for the last several months. His diagrams represent his own sets of quirky data in various arrangements of color and pattern.

Honestly, i think your work sucks. You're a horrible artist. You should stick to street vending or pandhandling. You have lousy taste in music, lousy taste in art, and you're way too emo for your own good. Quit at life brah.
Your piece in the Times on festivals was so negative I got to a point where I wondered why you would write it... dont bash something you obviously dont get... many things in your piece that were negative for you arent for other people. And how can you not like Talib Kweli?
I hate your charts and I think that people who like them are fools, along with the Times editors who agree to put your work online and in print. Stop over analyzing things and start accepting and enjoying them. Get out of the house. Have an adventure. Make art about that. Also Death is inevitable so accept that too. It's irrational to be afraid of death if you know that it is going to happen. Please don't be a cry baby about this post.
I enjoyed seeing Andrew at a recent AIGA lecture. Tongue in cheek art aside (his work is clever, but not only clever), the honesty of this guy's work (he's a toungue in cheek kinda guy) is inspiring and refreshing.

This is great. I saw the show and was amazed at how personal and revealing it was. Now to hear how Andrew Kuo is sensitive to criticism, it really shows the understated boldness in this work, which I enjoyed thouroughly. Thanks.
