Dan Hoyle is a San Francisco based actor and writer. He graduated from Northwestern University with a double degree in Performance Studies and History in 2003. His first solo show Circumnavigator ran for three months in 2004 before touring colleges throughout the country. His second solo show, Florida 2004: The Big Bummer, had a sold-out run. His most recent one-man show, Tings Dey Happen premiered at the Marsh in 2007, went on to an extended run at the Culture Project in New York, and most recently won the prestigious Glickman Award (for best Bay Area world premiere). Tings Dey Happen is Dan?s account of his experience as a Fulbright Scholar in Nigeria, while studying the country's complicated oil industry and its political impact.

He's nailed what I love about Africa...the diversity. His pupa-white arms work it! When does he play L.A.? Gotta know.
