Thank you so much for the inspiration. The great thing I get from Mr. Rose's work is that I always end the hour feeling refreshed no matter who the interviewee may be, a professional golfer, a banker even a politician. As an avid watcher/ listener I cross reference and get a real feeling of what is important to the kind people he interviews.

Thank you for these art shows. Franklin Kelly's enthusiasm is infectious. He has an interesting take on the art. His preparation is admirable. I wouldn't have known about the great Turner's retrospective without this show. Glad to see it's traveling regionally to Dallas. Hope they don't charge "an arm and a leg" for the show like they did for that Van Gogh thing, where there were only a couple of decent paintings amidst a lot of other filler. To make up for it, please include Moran's American work. If you will, "t. swaine," please elaborate on your insights.

Franklin Kelly and Turner are well served by the skill of Charlie Rose as a sensitive and knowledgeable interviewer - a rare pleasure on television. With more time, or another occasion, it would be worth exploring the scandal surrounding the treatment of Turner's bequest to the nation and the metaphorical import of his works. Look forward to more quality interviews.

Thank you for this hour of Art. Of the 2 interviews my favorite is with Franklin Kelly, about Turner. In 2004 I was in London and at the National Gallery, but sorry to say I never got to Turner's exhibit. There is beautiful paintings after beautiful paintings.
