Syeda Sughra Imam. Born in Lahore in 1972, Sughra Imam was elected in 2002 as an MPA (Member of Provincial Assembly) of the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab in Pakistan. She was appointed Minister for Social Welfare in 2003 and resigned in June 2004. Sughra graduated in 1994 from Harvard University and then worked at several US based organizations, prior to returning to Pakistan where she currently resides.
