      A really good guy. And a fine writer and singer. I saw him in concert years ago in Kansas City. The next morning my mind was reeling from my booze and his song writing and my right leg was almost shattered from stomping to his beat! He gets better and better.

      I admire John Mellencamp's music, personality, and his longevity. Thanks Charlie for having one the best singer/songwriters on your important show! I try to watch your show when I can, especially when you have host guests like musicians and historians. I am an American!
