I found your interview with John Grisham interesting as it confirmed my opinion that he is not a very good writer. His earlier work was suspenseful and made for good reading. However, success has spoiled him and his later work seems repetitive. His comments on your show seemed to bear this out as he boasted that he did not work very hard and was not a particularly erudite author. He is willing to ride on his reputation without challenging himself. I will, however, look at the new book. I just wonder if he is the kind of person who should be interviewed on your show. I think that you can do better. You are so good that you ought to be able to select more challenging and worthwhile subjects.
An interesting interview. It however turned really sour for me when Grisham said in response to a question that "he really couldn't bear the time to listen to a constituent rail on for 15 minutes" after he was elected which I interpreted to be very self serving and selfish. What did he think he was getting into, anyway? He mocks the political process, imho and morphs into a lightweight figure. I give him credit, certainly, he may be a great author, but I won't buy more of his books. Grow up, Grisham.
John Grisham is a great writer and I find his books and the movies made from his books to be interesting, challenging, and engaging. Good Show Charlie!

Besides, WOULDN'T YOU REALLY WANT TO GET THE FULL STORY....FIRST-HAND....FROM ONE OF THE TWO MEN WHO WERE INNOCENT. Yes, Dennis is the "other" INNOCENT MAN...AND HE IS ALIVE. I appreciate hearing a story from a good story teller....BUT I REALLY LIKE HEARING ABOUT A REAL-TRUE-TO-LIFE STORY, FIRST-HAND, FROM A REAL (read ACTUAL) PERSON WHO WAS THE EXPERIENCER OF THAT STORY. IMAGINE.......HOW RICH THAT "STORY" IS...AND ALL THAT IT CAN REVEAL....? THANK YOU CHARLIE.
