Anyway, the Democratic Convention is around the corner, and Al Gore will have one last chance to become the Democratic candidate who can win in November of 2008. Democratic party rules allow anyone to stand for the presidential nomination in the August convention, irrespective of whether they have fought the primaries. If the delegates fail to provide an absolute majority for one candidate, a second round of voting is held, and delegates are free to vote as their conscience dictates. It is interesting to see the debate that is going on right now regarding the 2008 presidential elections. It sounds childish if anyone stops for a second and try to analyze what is going on. First, the entire American mainstream media makes a big deal that the Democratic Party has the change to nominate for the first time as its candidate for the 2008 presidential election a woman or a black man. The mainstream media already defined the competition as being between a woman and a black man â?? in another words the race has been defined to be by gender and color. Then Bill Clinton who is on the side of the white woman who is running for president says something against his opponent the black man â?? and the entire world is on Bill Clintonâ??s case, as if he was giving a blow to the black man below the belt. It is PATHETIC. Anyway, millions of Americans still have not given up that Al Gore will be the Democratic Party candidate in November of 2008, and this late in the game when democrats were asked if they would support Al Gore if he jumps in the race during the Democratic Convention 86 percent of the democrats say that they would support Al Gore if he enters the race. I still donâ??t understand why the mainstream media and the American public canâ??t grasp that we have a perfect storm ahead of us, and it is not the time to make an experiment by electing a woman or a black man as president of the United States in November of 2008. Today, still time for the American people to wake up and elect the best available candidate from both parties, the person with the highest stature not only in the US but someone with very high prestige and clout around the world, and his name is Al Gore.
