I was initially taken with Obama but as I dug in and started to learn more about him, the lack of authenticity & 'poseur' posturing make me reluctant to support him. At root, he is a slick downtown Chicago lawyer, presenting a significant case. He is not what I would call a substantive person.

Wow! The truth will set you free. Obama for President!! To Sam, wake up!! Get over tha color of his skin dude. People are intentionally try to decieve us and have been decieving us. Its time that we say enough is enough! Times are very hard and hope for a better day seems so far away. Sam I dare u to close your eyes and listen to the truth. He fights for blue collar people working hard everyday trying to make a better living! ALL RACES!! People whom were not born into riches but hope to have riches and a better life some day. THAT`S THE AMERICA DREAM! THE HOPE OF A BETTER DAY!!!

Around the 10 minute mark he plainly explains his "bitter" statement in San Francisco. I hate that other candidates try to pander to voters and try to drum up controversy, instead of dealing directly with their problems. Obama is the one man who as president will make sure all Americans can feel their government is listening and working for them. It is also absurd to listen to Sen. Obama that he is an elite who does not care about ordinary Americans. This fact actually makes him an extraordinary politician.

Seems like a smart guy but there something about him that is to contrived as though he studied the American identity to a teeth degree to run for President, Don't be too black-threating,but be black enough to remind people of over coming race-Check , talk about religion important but doesn't define you, Check, be humble have no desire to run for President-Check, family man-Check. Watching this interview reminds me of something he said once , that he dated white girls but knew he would marry a black girl because he would be accepted more from not only whites but also black America, wonder what he felt he had to be accepted for.

Sheesh, yet again another powerful interview where he seems to see what is coming, size up things perfectly, and, as David Brooks says, remain "constant."
