A panel discussion about President Bush's plan for Iraq
Keywords:
David Brooks, senior editor at "The Weekly Standard", Jim Hoagland of "The Washington Post", Jonathan Alter, of "Newsweek", Nick Lemann of "The New Yorker," and Michael Elliott of "Time" come together for a live broadcast to discuss the President's latest address to the nation. In the speech, the President presented his case that Saddam Hussein and the Iraqi regime have been stockpiling weapons of mass destruction and outlined how he plans to deal with the growing threat.

It is worth mentioning that the only fear of reaction from the group was the Republican Guard. Five years ago, we were not even aware of Al Qadea, Suni or Shiates. Wolfawitts (sp) took care of the Bath party, so every thing would be simple. The journalist who got it right above was Johnathan Alter.
It is very interesting to see how the news people reacted to the Bush speech leading to the Iraqi war. I could not identify everyone there, but I see one person who was pro Bush has most of the air time. There was one person who was cautious and hit the nail on the head as far as the world reaction, the Iraqi reaction and other consequences. All in all, the group was persuaded by Bush that he had backed Saddam into a corner and it would be a push-over to take control of the country. Only that one journalist had it right.
