A unique perspective of the music industry. In 2007, with sales for hip hop records declining, are we on the brink of another musical revolution, similar to what occurred in the mid-50's, 60's, 70's and 80's? Given the notable success of Clive Davis subsequent to this interview, a follow up interview with Davis would seem especially appropriate, including a discussion of the social and economic impact of rap and hip hop and which artists now may be leading the next musical revolution.
