A good introspective interview. Kim comes across a relaxed and revealing about herserlf, like turning LA Confidential down 3 times to act until encouraged by her then agent to reconsider.
Feels that in her 40's God has a place for her beyond 2000 (date of the interview). Articulate, introspective, modest, shy, timid, real. A substantive interview, the kind anyone would like to have with anyone, esp. less than vain Kim. Self deprecating, liked Rose's show but is shy to interviews and admires other actresses that can do his show and be so calm. Had cold hands just doing this show, as Charlie found out.
Didn't like pushing movies, crowds, business aspect of celebrity. Would like to finish her degree.
Scared of talk shows. Needs God and humor.
Shyness goes back from childhood 4th grade experience.
Anxiety about going to school as a child. So shy she would crumble in front of class.
Went on to modeling. Kind of a contradiction that she went into things so public but finds celebrity hard to feel easy about.
The show then explored her then made movie as well.
A very thoughtful person, Kim really talks all about herself, any fan's idea of a great interview. Gets into her environmental views for the elderly, children, animals.
Thanks Kim, only saw you in Batman, but thanks for being so frank in the interview that we can identify with you as a person instead of just watching your work in some detached fashion. By the way, lets have coffee sometime.
