Annie Proulx is one of my favourite short story writers. I just finishe her latest story in the magazine "The New Yorker" called "Tits Up in a Ditch" - it was tough but magnificent story of modern day problems and 'Ear Rack'. I spent my life doctoring those rawhide personalities that lived in 'The Cariboo' in central British Columbia. It is great to get away from stories of suburbia and angst into stories of real people. Thank you Annie
