Willem Dafoe
William Dafoe, Jr. is an Academy Award-nominated film and stage actor and a founding member of the experimental theatre company The Wooster Group.
Dafoe's first starring role was as the leader of a motorcycle gang in "The Loveless" (he later played a similar role in "Streets of Fire"), but his real breakthrough came with the role of Sergeant Elias in "Platoon" (1986), for which he was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor. He has since become a popular character actor and, due to his harsh facial features, is often typecast as unstable or villainous characters, such as the Green Goblin in the Spider Man movies. He received a second Academy Award nomination for the 2000 "Shadow of the Vampire" and provided the voice of Gill for the animated film "Finding Nemo." In 2006, he played NYPD detective Stan Aubray on the hunt for a serial killer, the lead in New York-set thriller "Anamorph."
