Tom Edsall is the the Joseph Pulitzer II and Edith Pulitzer Moore Professor of Journalism at Columbia University.
Edsall wrote for 'The Washington Post' for 25 years and is now a correspondent for 'The New Republic' and 'The National Journal'. In addition to writing for newspapers, he has written four books and has had articles appear in numerous magazines. His awards include the Carey McWilliams Award of the American Political Science Association, the Bill Pryor Award of the Newspaper Guild, and five Media Fellowships at the Hoover Institution at Stanford University.
