Robert G. Kaiser

Robert G. Kaiser is an editor and writer. Over the years at "The Washington Post" he distinguished himself as an overseas correspondent in London, Saigon, and Moscow, and on the national staff. Named assistant managing editor of national news, then deputy managing editor, he was the author of several books on the former Soviet Union including "Russia from the Inside" and "Why Gorbachev Happened".
