Michael Waldholz

Michael Waldholz is a journalist and author. He joined Bloomberg News in June, 2005, as Senior Editor and was named a Managing Editor in December, 2005, overseeing Bloomberg's health and science staff of 36 reporters and editors in bureaus in the U.S., Europe and Asia. Waldholz served as Chief Medical and Science Reporter and News Editor at 'The Wall Street Journal', covering the drug and biotech industries, as well as personal and public health issues from 1980 until 2005. He led a team of reporters that won the 1996 Pulitzer Prize for national reporting on breakthrough AIDS medicines. He is the author of 'Curing Cancer' and co-author of 'Genome'.
