Ivo Daalder

Ivo Daalder is a Senior Fellow in Foreign Policy Studies and the Sydney Stein, Jr. Chair at the Brookings Institute. His areas of expertise include American foreign policy, arms control, nuclear weapons, and missile defense, Europe, the foreign policy process, and national security. Prior to his work at Brookings, he served as Director for European Affairs for the National Security Council (1995-96) and as Associate Professor at the School of Public Affairs at the University of Maryland.

Daalder received his Ph.D. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
