Previously, she served as senior policy advisor to former Vice President Al Gore and headed former President Bill Clinton's National Performance Review, also known as the Reinventing Government Program. Dr. Kamarck also has worked as a senior fellow at the Progressive Policy Institute and has written regular columns for "Newsday" and the "Los Angeles Times".
