Don Shalvey is an American educator. He is president and co-founder of Aspire Public Schools, a non-profit charter school management organization. During his 33 years in public education, Shalvey has been a superintendent, principal, classroom teacher, and counselor, working at all levels from elementary through college and adult education. Under his leadership, San Carlos sponsored the first charter school in California.
