Stacy Madeleine Schiff is an American Pulitzer Prize-winning writer. Schiff worked as a senior editor at Simon & Schuster. Her essays and articles have been published in “The New Yorker”, “The New York Times Book Review” and “The Times Literary Supplement”. She has received fellowships from the Guggenheim Foundation and the National Endowment for the Humanities.
Schiff won the 2000 Pulitzer Prize in the biography or autobiography category for “Vera (Mrs. Vladimir Nabokov),” and was a finalist for the 1995 Pulitzer Prize for “Saint-Exupéry: A Biography,” also in biography. She was a guest columnist at “The New York Times” in early 2007.
