Doug Liman is an American film director and producer. He found almost overnight success with his 1996 film ?Swingers?. Only Liman’s second film to date, it was written by his friend Jon Favreau, who also acted as one of the film’s stars alongside Vince Vaughn. Liman enjoyed his most potent commercial and creative success when he helmed the action thriller ?The Bourne Identity? (2002), an adaptation of author Robert Ludlum’s potboiler. He served as an executive producer and directed the pilot episode of the successful Fox melodrama ?The O.C.? (2003-2007).
