Stephen J. Dubner is an American journalist and author best known for co-authoring the 2005 bestseller ‘Freakonomics: A Rogue Economist Explores the Hidden Side of Everything’ with economist Steven Levitt. ‘Freakonomics’ won the Quill Award for best business book and was named a Notable Book of 2005 by the ‘New York Times’.lDubner is a regular contributor to ABC News and writes a monthly ‘Freakonomics’ column in ‘The New York Times Magazine’. for best business book

From 1990-1994 Dubner was an editor and writer for ‘New York Magazine’ and from 1994-1999 he was an editor and writer for the ‘New York Times Magazine’.

Dubner is also the author of ‘Turbulent Souls: A Catholic Son?s Return to his Jewish Family’, which was published in 1998 and was named a Notable Book by the ‘New York Times’ and was a finalist for the Koret National Jewish Book Award.
