Christopher Eric Hitchens is an author, journalist and literary critic. He has been a columnist at “Vanity Fair”, “The Nation” and “Slate”; additionally, he is an occasional contributor to other publications and has appeared regularly in the “Wall Street Journal”.

In September 2005, Hitchens was named as one of the “Top 100 Public Intellectuals” by “Foreign Policy” and Britain’s “Prospect” magazine. He is an Honorary Associate of the National Secular Society.
