Sir Anthony Sher is an actor, novelist and painter. He won him the prestigious Laurence Olivier Award for his role in “Richard III.” Since then he has played the lead in many big productions, including “Tamburlaine,” “Cyrano de Bergerac,” and “Macbeth.” He has also starred in the miniseries “The History Man” and “The Jury.”

Sher’s novels include “Cheap Lives,” “The Indoor Boy,” and “The Feast.” He has received numerous acting awards including two Laurence Olivier Awards and an Evening Standard Award.
