David J. O’Reilly has been head of strategies and operations of Chevrontexaco Corp. since January 1, 2005. He has been Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of ChevronTexaco since the completion of the merger between Chevron and Texaco in October 2001. Prior to the merger, O’Reilly held the same positions with Chevron since January 2000. He was a Vice-President of Chevron from 1991 until 1998, President of Chevron Products Company from 1994 until 1998, Vice-Chairman of the Board of Chevron from 1998 until 1999, and Senior Vice-President and Chief Operating Officer of Chevron Chemical Company from 1989 until 1991. He has been a Director of ChevronTexaco Corp. since 1998 and has been a Member of Executive Committee since 1994. He was a Director of Caltex Petroleum Corporation from 1992 until 1994.
O’Reilly serves as a Director of American Petroleum Institute, San Francisco Symphony Board of Governors, Bay Area Council, and the Leon H. Sullivan Foundation. He is a member of The Business Council, The Business Roundtable, JPMorgan International Council, and World Economic Forum’s International Business Council.
