Barry Diller is an American media executive responsible for the creation of Fox Broadcasting Company. He created the ‘ABC Movie of the Week’, and served for ten years as the Chairman and CEO of Paramount Pictures Corporation. During his tenure, the studio produced hit television programs such as ‘Laverne & Shirley’, ‘Taxi’, and ‘Cheers’. As Chairman and CEO of Fox, Inc, he green-lighted hits like ‘The Simpsons’.
