Peter Bergen is a print and television journalist who appears as a terrorism analyst on CNN. He is known for conducting the first television interview with Osama Bin Laden in 1997. He has written several books on terrorism, including “Holy War, Inc.” and “The Osama bin Laden I Know”.

Bergen is Adjunct Professor in South Asia Studies at Johns Hopkins University”s School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) and a Senior Fellow at the New America Foundation. In August of 2006, CNN published an article about Bergen”s denial of a CIA Bin Laden connection.
