Carey Mulligan is an English actress. Prior to her breakout role as Jenny in An Education (2009), her credits include the 2005 film Pride & Prejudice, the 2005 BBC adaptation of Charles Dickens’ novel Bleak House, and the well-received Doctor Who episode “Blink.” She received a Shooting Stars Award at the 2009 Berlinale. Mulligan has received a Golden Globe nomination for her performance in An Education.
