Andrés Oppenheimer is an Argentine author and award-winning journalist, best known for his analysis of Latin American politics. He is a senior columnist for The Miami Herald and the Argentine newspaper La Nación, and has published several books. His work has been recognized in the past with several awards including the 1987 Pulitzer Prize as part of the team that covered the Iran-Contra Affair. Oppenheimer currently has his own news program in the United States, Oppenheimer Presenta (Oppenheimer Presents), which is aired by PBS’s Spanish-language digital subchannel, V-me.
