Since taking the position, Myers has directed ELLE into a new era of success, giving readers the best in fashion coverage, lifestyle stories, and breaking news. 2006 will see the magazine close with 2,363 Publishers Information Bureau pages the highest in ELLE history. Under Myers’ direction, ELLE was honored in Advertising Age’s The A List, in recognition of the largest increase in ad pages among its competition and its huge growth in newsstand sales. ELLE was also recently named one of Top 10 Brand Blazers of 2006 by Mediaweek, earning praise for ELLE’s massive brand power and recognition. In May 2006, she supervised ELLE’s first Green Issue, which was printed on recycled paper and offered tips on how to become more environmentally conscious. ELLE recently celebrated its biggest September issue ever with unparalleled fashion content and a newsworthy Lindsay Lohan cover story in which the starlet sounded off on Paris Hilton, her love life, and her desire to travel to Iraq with Hillary Clinton.
