Kayce Freed Jennings is Peter Jennings’s fourth wife. They married on December 2, 1997. She, along with her two stepchildren and sister in law, was beside Peter as he died on August 7, 2005. After his death, she issued the following statement: “Peter died with his family around him, without pain and in peace. He knew he’d lived a good life.”
