Michael Oreskes became executive editor of The International Herald Tribune in May 2005. Previously, Mr. Oreskes was deputy managing editor of The New York Times since November 2004. In that role, he oversaw the Times Web and television content. During this time, television programs produced by the New York Times won numerous awards, including the Alfred I. duPont-Columbia University award, the George Polk award, the George Foster Peabody Award, Harvard’s Goldsmith award, and several Emmy awards. Mr. Oreskes also supervised the Times’s relationship with The International Herald Tribune.
