Anne Taylor Fleming began her career with personal essays and feature articles in Newsweek, Redbook and Vogue.
In 1978, she began writing cover stories for The New York Times Magazine and later contributed the paper’s “Points West” column - sketches and reflections of California lifestyles. She was a regular “Spectrum” commentator for CBS Radio throughout the ‘80s and wrote a twice-weekly socio/political newspaper column for the Hearst Syndicate. She is the author of “Motherhood Deferred: A Woman’s Journey” and two works of fiction, “Marriage: A Duet” and “As If Love Were Enough.” She received the 2006 Gracie Allen award from the Foundation of American Women in Radio and Television for her NewsHour essays.
