Terry Kay Rockefeller is an American documentary film producer and peace activist. Her work is often seen on PBS. Among her documentary credits are episodes of “Eyes on the Prize”, a history of the civil rights and black power movements, and “The Great Depression”.
Terry’s sister, Laura Rockefeller, was killed in the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center. Since May of 2002, Rockefeller has worked with September 11th Families for Peaceful Tomorrows. She represented Peaceful Tomorrows at the World Conference against Atomic & Hydrogen Bombs in Hiroshima and Nagasaki, the Initiatives of Changes conference in Caux, Switzerland, and at the Global Peace Initiative of Women (GPIW) conference in Amman, Jordan.
Rockefeller lectures regularly about the need for non-violent responses to terrorism and pro-active efforts to work against the root causes of hatred and violence.
