Associate Professor Evan Lee Jon Choon is the head of Division of Nephrology at National University Hospital in Singapore. He is also an Associate Professor of Medicine at National University of Singapore and was the immediate former President of Singapore Society of Nephrology. Lee?s research interests are in nutrition in chronic dialysis and oxidative stress in dialysis.
In his tenure as President of Singapore Society of Nephrology in 2005, Lee was chairman of the organizing committee that successfully organized the 3rd World Congress of Nephrology, the leading Congress of Nephrology in the world, which was held in Singapore in June 2005. The event attracted Nobel Laureates, distinguished nephrologists and leading scientists from all over the world.
