David Lauren is a marketing and communications executive for Ralph Lauren, the American fashion retailer that his father founded. David helped create and implement the two primary Ralph Lauren projects of the last decade: launching polo.com in 2000, and introducing a new clothing line, called the Rugby brand, in 2004.

Before becoming directly involved with the family business, Lauren founded ?Swing?, a lifestyle magazine for 20-somethings, while still a student at Duke. The magazine had a peak circulation of 125,000, but folded after five years.
