Michael Lerner is an Academy-Award nominated American character actor. After graduating from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, Michael began participating in a number plays in San Francisco. During the seventies Michael began making several guest appearances in shows such as ?The Brady Bunch? and ?Three’s Crowd?. In 1976 Michael made his film debut in Charles Bronson’s ?St. Ives?. He has since made many appearances in various Bronson pictures such as ?Borderline? and ?Death Wish?. In 1991, after starring in the acclaimed sports movie ?Eight Men Out?, Michael appeared in the Coen Brothers’ ?Barton Fink?, a performance for which he received an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor.
