James Hoge is Editor of “Foreign Affairs”, the premier journal on international affairs and foreign policy, former editor of the “Chicago Sun Times”, and former publisher of “The Daily News”. He is an expert on U.S. foreign policy and media issues. Hoge is also Chairman, International Center for Journalists; Director, Foundation for a Civil Society; Director, the Human Rights Watch; and Chairman, Program Committee, American Ditchley Foundation.

He has received the Public Service Award, University of Chicago and six Pulitzer Prizes were awarded to the “Chicago Sun-Times” for journalistic excellence and one awarded to “The New York Daily News” under his leadership. Hoge has published articles in the “New Republic”, “Nieman Reports”, “Media Studies Journal”, and “Foreign Affairs”.
