Kathleen Brown is Democratic politician from California. She is the daughter of former Governor Pat Brown and the sister of California Attorney General Jerry Brown (also a former Governor of California).
Brown is an attorney and was first elected to the Los Angeles City Board of Education in 1975, and reelected in 1979. She was elected to the California State Treasurer in 1990. She currently serves as Senior Advisor with responsibility for Public Finance, Western Region for Goldman Sachs.
