Evan Wolfson is an American civil rights attorney and advocate. He is the founder and executive director of Freedom to Marry, a national non-profit organization working for marriage equality between gay and straight couples. He authored the book “Why Marriage Matters; America, Equality, and Gay People’s Right to Marry”. He was listed in “Time Magazine’s” 100 Most Influential People in the World.
