Margit Rowell is an American curator. She retired as Chief Curator of Drawings at the Museum of Modern Art, New York, in 2002. She was also a curator at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, New York, the Musée National d’Art Moderne, Paris, and the Fundació Joan Miró, Barcelona. She curated the first retrospective of Ed Ruscha’s drawings at the Whitney.
