Roger Hodge is the editor of “Harper’s” magazine. He joined Harper’s as an intern in 1996 and was subsequently hired as a fact checker. Over the following eight years Hodge was named to several editorial positions, and in 2004 was named Deputy Editor. In 2006 Hodge was made editor.
In March 2006, Hodge generated publicity along with criticism and attacks from the scientific community when he edited “Out Of Control: AIDS and the corruption of medical science,” an article written by the controversial AIDS dissident Celia Farber.
