David Birdsell is an American academic and expert on visual and political communication. Birdsell is a member of the faculty of Baruch College and Dean of its School of Public Affairs (SPA). In his many roles at SPA, Birdsell has served as executive director for academic programs (1999-2005) with responsibility for graduate and undergraduate curricula and faculty affairs.
