Yusuf Jameel is a veteran journalist contributing to “The New York Times”, “Time Magazine” and “AFP”, to name a few. His reporting on Kashmir earned him a 1989 Mulk Raj Saraf Award for Outstanding News Reporting. He is also the recipient of an International Press Freedom Award (1996) from the Committee to Protect Journalists and a SAFMA Best Reporter Award 2005.
