Edward Felsenthal is assistant managing editor for news strategy at ‘The Wall Street Journal’ and editor-in-chief of ‘Personal Journal’, ‘Weekend Journal’ and ‘Pursuits’. Felsenthal was the founding editor of ‘Personal Journal’, which was launched on April 9, 2002, as part of The Wall Street Journal’s 2002 redesign.

Felsenthal joined the ‘Wall Street Journal?s’ New York bureau as a reporter covering legal affairs in October 1992 and continued to cover the same beat when he transferred to the Washington bureau in 1994. Felsenthal covered the Supreme Court from 1996 to 1998, when he was named an assistant news editor for ‘Weekend Journal’. In June 2000, he became a news editor for ‘Weekend Journal’ and later that year was named associate editor of the section. He was named editor of ‘Personal Journal’ in December 2001 and was appointed to his current posts in June 2005.
