J. William Futrell is clinical professor of surgery at the University of Pittsburgh and former president of the American Association of Plastic Surgeons. Futrell was the chief of plastic surgery at the University of Pittsburgh from 1979 until 2000. He is also a co-developer of multiple patents related to fat-derived stem cells and co-founder of companies including StemSource, Advanced Vital Services and Human Analytix.
