Griffin Dunne is an American actor, producer, and film director. He is well known for his roles in ‘An American Werewolf in London’, from 1981, and the 1985 Martin Scorsese black comedy ‘After Hours’. He has played many supporting roles, including the character Jake Bixler in ‘My Girl’. Dunne runs a production company with Amy Robinson called Double Play Productions, which produced ‘Running on Empty’ and ‘White Palace’. Dunne made his directorial debut with a short film, ‘Duke of Groove’, in 1996, which was nominated for an Oscar. Since then, he has also directed ‘Addicted to Love’, ‘Practical Magic’, and other films.
