James Naughton is an accomplished American theater, film, and television actor.

Naughton attended Brown University and Yale Drama School. His acting career began when he appeared in a series of Broadway dramas and musicals. He won the Theatre World Award for his performance in “Long Day’s Journey Into Night” in 1971. He won a Tony Award in 1990 for “City of Angels” and again in 1996 for his portrayal of lawyer Billy Flynn in the musical “Chicago”. His films include “The Paper Chase”, “The First Wives Club”, and “The Devil Wears Prada”. He has directed several plays in New York and also appears in cabarets.
