Monte Bramer is a filmmaker and writer. After attending college at the University of Iowa, Bramer moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in film. For ten years in the beginning of his career, he edited a wide variety of projects for The Walt Disney Company.

In 1992, he teamed with producer Lesli Klainberg to write and direct “Paul Monette: The Brink of Summer’s End,” which won numerous awards, including the Audience Award at the Sundance Film Festival. In his spare time he teaches filmmaking at Art Center College of Design.
